MESSAGE FOR SHANNON & EVIE

Thank you for your comments regarding the blogs new appearance.  I am still in the middle of transferring the links across to the different pages which is why some are still blank!  However, you can now click on the catagories, such as problems solving, on the right hand side of the screen.  This is what you used to have to do and it will make it easier for you to find what you want until the new changes are complete.  I hope that this helps!

Welcome

Welcome to the Watcombe Brainbusters Blog aimed at those children in our school who are on the Gifted & Talented register (of course everyone else is welcome to view the blog as well).

Rather than focusing upon individual talents, this blog is about helping pupils to become better learners by developing their learning skills. This enables them to become independent and confident investigators who can direct and support themselves in their learning. In the past, schools have placed too much emphasis on teaching children ‘knowledge’. It is impossible to teach children everything that they need to know; it is more important to teach them how to find out for themselves.

Keep visiting the Blog and keep learning!

You are welcome to leave a comment but pupils should only leave the first name and class for internet safety reasons.

Miss Leaman
